I use the version 0.3-rc20101203 and in the gnome taskbar the icon gladish does not appear. it's possible you add this enhancement.

Since I dont use a taskbar and I dont find this feature important, I'll wait until someone volunteers to implement it.

I'd just like to +1: I think you mean the window icon.
This is more important than one might think in routine workflow since searching in the taskbar isn't fast without icons :)
